Have you ever wondered what it would be like to rock medieval armor in modern times? Balenciaga wants to hook you up with their new line of medieval-inspired boots that they just announced earlier this week!
As seen during the dystopian runway video, Balenciaga's Chevalier Derby boots are made from laser-cut leather and have been given a painted and polished finish to replicate armor. You can see in the image below that small rivets have also been reinterpreted to make the pair look as if they’re hand-made by a blacksmith in the middle ages.
Apparently the boots will retail for $2,650 in the US and are expected to release sometime during Fall 2021 in stores and online, but fingers crosses this means Balenciaga is also working on the rest of the suit of armor too!
