KASE101, 98.1 KVET and Sonic are teaming up to help Give Back To Austin. Each month we will spotlight an Austin area non profit to shed light on their organization and how you can help.
For April we will shine the spotlight bright on a special event for Austin Smiles.
Join us for the 21st Annual Shoot for a Smile Sporting Clays Tournament and Raffle at Capitol City Trap & Skeets Club on Friday April 20, 2018.
Registration begins at 10:00 a.m. on and the event concludes at 5:00 p.m. All proceeds benefit Austin Smiles Plastic Surgery Foundation.
The event includes: 4-man shooting teams on a 50-target course, raffle, BBQ luncheon, silent auction and shooting games. Tournament is set up in the Lewis Class System.
Each shooter should bring his or her own 20-gauge or 12-gauge shotgun and glasses for eye protection. Shells and earplugs are provided.

Austin Smiles works closely with the Clinical Nurse Specialist and Medical Social Worker at the Craniofacial and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery Center at Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas to provide program and financial support for patients and their families by:
- serving as a resource of information for anyone affected by cleft lip/palate and referring anyone needing assistance to the appropriate person or entity
- offering financial assistance on a a case-by-case basis to patients in need
- sponsoring cleft patients to attend “Camp Amigo,” a weekend overnight camp where participants enjoy outdoor activities, team-building exercises, and socializing with other young Texans affected by cleft lip and/or palate
- coordinating and funding social events throughout the year to bring fun and fellowship to patients and families
