Kelly Clarkson Selling Her $9 Million Estate She Lived In With Ex-Husband

Kelly Clarkson is moving on from the home that she once shared with estranged husband Brandon Blackstock.

As per The Los Angeles Times, Clarkson is selling her modern 9,839-square-foot farmhouse, which she purchased in 2018, re-listing the property for $9 million after originally asking for $10 million last summer. The property, which was purchased after it was built that same year, is a rustic pad with bright and open living spaces inside. The main home and guesthouse hold a total of eight bedrooms and 11 bathrooms.

Prior to moving to the farmhouse-style crib, Clarkson and Blackstock were renting a house in Los Angeles, despite the fact that the former was based in Nashville for the last decade. During their stay in Los Angeles during the 2018 Billboard Music Awards, the property was robbed the night before the ceremony. "It was crazy, we got here and our whole house was like bashed in," she told Extra at the time. "We caught it on camera…Somebody was in [our] kid’s room and ransacked our whole room and closet and everything, and that’s never a good feeling."

Considering Clarkson and Blackstock's ongoing divorce, it would seem as if this is the latest step in severing their ties. Last week, Blackstock responded to the talk show host's previous legal docs, where she claimed his talent agency, Starstruck Management Group, defrauded her of millions of dollars. The agency, which is run by Brandon's father, Narvel Blackstock, denied the allegations in which Clarkson claimed they violating California Labor Code and charged exorbitant commission fees. The agency argued that they are not subject to regulation under the Talent Agencies Act because they did not perform their duties in California. Additionally, they deny that Clarkson is entitled to any relief whatsoever.

On the family end, Clarkson was granted primary custody of the couple's two children: daughter, River, and son, Remington.
