Kimberly Perry predicted “a gorgeous full circle moment” at The Band Perry’s hometown reunion show in 2025.

The Band Perry recently announced plans to host a homecoming show in Greeneville, Tennessee, in an effort to support ongoing hurricane relief in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. Kimberly will perform with her brother, Reid Perry, and her husband, Johnny Costello, at the show. The third member of the trio, Neil Perry, will continue his solo endeavors, per the band’s previous announcement.

Kimberly, Reid, Costello and The Band Perry shared a video of the group rehearsing “If I Die Young.” The trio released the ballad on their self-titled record in 2010, and the song has since inspired “If I Die Young Pt. 2,” appearing on Kimberly’s solo project. She said the original single “wouldn’t have come to life anywhere else. I’m convinced of it.”

“I wrote this song 10 minutes away from where I’m sitting right now. From a bedroom on a farm in the mountains of East Tn to the world. Thanks to you,” Kimberly wrote as she shared the clip on Instagram. “It’s gonna be a gorgeous full circle moment to play this at our show in January, can’t wait to sing it with you all!”

“When home needs help, that’s when family comes together,” The Band Perry stated as they announced the homecoming show. The trio confirmed in early 2023 that they would “take a creative break as a group,” to focus on solo work. “I am so grateful to announce that we are getting the band back together to raise money to help Hurricane Helene relief. The Band Perry: A Homecoming on January 25th, 2025 will be an evening benefitting AIDNET of Greene County. …As we return for this show, we are pleased to announce the addition of our newest family member, Johnny Costello, on mando and guitar. We wish Neil the most success on his solo journey.”
