Over the weekend, a man driving a pickup truck on the interstate, encountered a ramp that was created from built up ice and snow, which launched his truck flying off the overpass 70 feet to the ground. Driving in Wisconsin and the midwest the last week has been a challenge with the winter blast that has affected the region, which is what caused the ramp of snow and icy conditions on the interstate.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation captured the scary crash on video, showing the truck fly over the guard rail and plunge 70 feet to the ground, into oncoming traffic. Amazingly, no other vehicles were involved in the incident.
Amazingly, the driver was able to be assisted out of the vehicle, without any serious injuries. The Milwaukee Country Sheriff’s Office did not suspect that the driver was under the influence at the time of the crash.
